The beauty of vacation

I stayed up until 5:30 a.m. reading Dan Brown's new book. Good, but his editor really could have cut 60 pages.

I hate my freakin' cell phone

I cannot connect to Facebook. Well, sometimes I can, but other times - like right now, for no apparent reason - it tells me "you must log in first." Uh, hello? I've entered my password 40 times! It's like the problems I was having text-messaging Blogger. I'm not blaming Facebook, though. The common denominator is this stupid phone. Only two more weeks 'til I can cancel it!

Go Sox

You know how you always forget one thing when you go on vacation? This time, for me, it's socks. Start of a 10-day trip and I realize the ONLY pair of socks I have is the pair I wore yesterday! Guess I know what my souvenir of Canada is going to be. Maybe I can find a pair with little maple leaves...

Reno 4-1-1

We are back in Nevada. I learned a new phrase tonight: "Reno pretty."

LONG week

Monday I was tired and bitchy when I got home - possibly from not getting much sleep on Sunday due to all the caffeine keeping us going on the drive home. Tuesdays AND Wednesday I had meetings at church. Tonight I had to drive back to Sacramento for a meeting tomorrow. That means tomorrow night will be a 5-hour drive in the other direction. And on Saturday we have committed to an event 40 miles out of town at 10 a.m.

Las Chance

The Husband just went to stick money I didn't even know he had into the airport slot machines.
